Renier Lewis is a well-rounded IT specialist with a passion for creating specialised, secure and reliable, yet user-friendly and easy to understand customer solutions for the HR field. As a trained Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Renier has used his extensive troubleshooting skills to help customers understand and overcome the many challenges they face daily in our technology-driven world.
Renier started his career as a software and hardware engineer installing large-scale client systems while working with a variety of clients on solving their IT issues. He joined SHL, a group of international industrial psychologists and human resources consultants, during 1998 where he was involved in the design and implementation of people assessment systems.
He was instrumental in the design of custom client solutions and many of his designs are assisting a number of large global organisations in making effective people decisions today. With over 14 years’ experience in understanding the challenges faced specifically in the HR and psychometrics world, and over 20 years’ work experience in the IT world, Renier joined TTS-Talent Group in June 2011 where he now heads up its product and technology company, TTS-Talent Technology Solutions. The mission of TTS-Talent Technology Solutions, a TTS-Talent Group company, is to integrate different assessments and vendor devices in order to solve clients’ real-world problems and challenges.
Currently Renier is in the process of completing his MSc Information Science at the University of South Africa (Unisa) in Pretoria, Gauteng. To complement the research work Renier is doing as part of his master’s study, he recently successfully completed a British Standards Industry (BSI) ISO 27001 – Lead auditor course.
