About

I've been working with web development since 2008, always using open source technologies.

PHP is like my primary language. I have been using it almost everyday since I started programming, more than 10 years ago.

I have good experience working with monoliths, services, and microservices. Indeed, my preferred sport is breaking monoliths into smaller services :)

I think perfect is the enemy of good, so I like to be pragmatic and avoid unnecessary complexity.

I'm driven by principles and best practices, not by tools, nor buzzwords, nor trending topics. Therefore I like the Agile manifesto, but I'm not dependent on Jira or such tools. I also like SOLID principles, and I like domain driven design -- DDD -- to write simple code supporting complex systems.

I have experience working with different architectures, from monolith to serverless, and I know why, when & how to use them.
