First programming language was BASIC on an HC-90 around 1994. Moved to QBASIC on MS-DOS, then Pascal and C/C++ in 2000. I also wrote some assembly here and there out of curiosity. Since 2004 I moved to web development with PHP. Initially started writing modules for Joomla and phpBB, then wrote my own micro-framework which I used for several years. Then I discovered everything I was doing is called design patterns and Symfony has them so I started studying it and using it in my work projects. Currently I work at Ubisoft as a technical lead in Bucharest and write backend micro-services on Symfony.
